About Ellie

I am a wife, mother, perimenopausal woman and passionate advocate for women’s wellbeing.

The medical industry doesn’t always have solutions for the very real symptoms we may be experiencing that are slowly ruining the quality of our lives. Fatigue, anxiety, sleep interruptions and weight gain may be “normal” at this time of life due to hormonal changes, but it doesn’t mean we need to endure it for years without support.

I’m excited to share with you what I have learned through research and applying these (beautiful) practises to my daily life. I feel better now at this age, than I have ever felt and its because of the principles in ‘The 6-Week Perimenopause Reset’. I genuinely care for and love myself in a way I had no idea how to when I was younger.

It is my deepest wish that I can help you nourish and care for yourself at this time of life when your body is changing. Rather than struggle every day, I want to help you feel calm in yourself, supported and genuinely joyful.

Please follow me on social media to keep in touch and for regular tips and inspiration.

MY STORY

For years, I thought I was losing control.

One day I was fine. The next day, I was crying at my desk, forgetting words mid-sentence, and staring in the mirror wondering when my hair got so thin and my skin so dry.

I thought maybe I was depressed… maybe I was just aging badly… maybe this was my “new normal.”

But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right.

My daily struggles looked like this:

  • Brain fog so heavy it felt like I was losing my ability to think

  • Gritty, dry eyes that made reading miserable

  • Crushing fatigue (I could nap at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m if I had the time)

  • Pain during intimacy

  • Mood swings and anxiety that came out of nowhere

I tried to hold it all together for my family, my work, and my relationships - but inside, I felt like I was disappearing.

I tried everything the “experts” suggested:

  • Prescription antidepressants (made me numb, not better)

  • Random supplements from the internet (expensive bottles, zero change)

  • Forcing myself to “just exercise more” (only left me exhausted)

  • Restrictive diets (made me feel worse, not better)

  • Endless blood tests and doctor visits (“your results are normal” – while I felt anything but normal)

Nothing worked.

Until I discovered something that changed everything.

I started digging into research, women’s stories, and consulting with forward-thinking health professionals.

And what I found shocked me: according to the North American Menopause Society, over 85% of women experience disruptive symptoms during perimenopause, yet most are told to “wait it out.” So many of my girlfriends (and myself) were part of this statistic and we were struggling. To be told “there’s nothing we can do until your symptoms worsen” was frustrating to hear.

What I learned from my own research, progressive health professionals and women living through perimenopause is:

  • Your body isn’t “broken” - it’s navigating hormone fluctuations.

  • Small, daily resets can ease 80% of symptoms in weeks.

  • Lifestyle, nutrition, and stress tweaks work faster than you think.

  • You don’t need to overhaul your whole life - you need the right sequence of gentle resets.

Most women are unknowingly make their symptoms worse by pushing harder, dieting harsher, or ignoring early signs of imbalance.

I know because I did all of those things.

Through research and guidance from hormone health practitioners, nutrition experts and women’s health coaches I discovered WHY traditional approaches fail - and what actually works.

Now, I love my life. I feel like I am getting better with age - healthier, calmer, focused on what really matters and happier.

Everything I do now is to help other women feel good in WHO they are.

We are all unique and have unique needs.

I hope you find something here that feels like a little blessing from the universe.
